How to collect my arrears from meg in defence

my father was working as Havildar II, in defence in MEG from 1941 to 1946, after his service, he did not received any arrears and benefits from the above said office. And a sum of Rs.924 and 14 annas are balance amount of salary, it was not yet received by him. Now my father expired, my mother and myself only alive. Four years back we recieved a Canteen card in favour of my mother's name.
we have so tired to search about my father's details and now i want, how i got my fathers balance of salary and other benefit. whether it is possible or not
if it would possible please give anybody the way of apporach.Once again I say thangking you to all. (because my client is so innocent.)

Naidu! Being a lawyer, you clearly know the law of limitation. Innocence is not a ground to provide him more than 70 years to agitate for his claim especially when the serving person has desired a long ago.

Though limitation is a major hurdle in your way even then if the record office of the deceased soldier could be known by way of his service record then only you can make a representation for the desired relief.

Generally service record of a non-pensioner soldier is weeded out after 10 years of boarding out from service as per Army Rules.

Mr naidu, You can file a RTI and if you are fortunate enough ad it results in a positive respose, you can move further in that direction, otherwise, what MR Makkad has stated is true.

Yes!The last hope lies in Mr.CHUGH's advise otherwise Mr. Makkad has rightly predicted the fate in face of facts.
