how to file it in Labour court

I left my last organization in March 2011 and till date have not recived my pay which was pending since jan 2011. this was the main reason why I switched the job. as I was located in Gurgaon and the company is registered in Mumbai. where should file the case in mumbai or Gurgaon as there is nothing mentioned that I will be located in gurgaon.

request you to kindly assist as my 3 months pay and final dues are still pending with this company.

Will I need to hire a lawyer for this or this can be the same way the consumer court are run.

Consult a lawyers face to face as your action against your ex employer would depend upon the terms and clauses of your employment contract document.

You can file the case either in the place of work or in the place of the Regional/Registered office of the company.

You say that you are located in X area, do you mean that you are posted in X area. If so you can file the case in X area also.
