Dear sir/madam , I had filed a complaint on 01-03-2025, and got the application number but still no FIR. Even though the sub-inspector is also giving appropriate instructions to the investigating officer, the investigating officer is trying to mislead this complaint and to protect the accused in this complaint. so how do I bring PSR to do FIR , can I only able to get PSR myself ? may I know what is procedure , if approach advocate what they will do for this sir ? I dont know how PSR works. please explain , thank you .

What is PSR?
If the police is not taking any action, then you can approach the higher police officer with a similar complaint seeking direction to the concerned police for necessary action or approach the judicial magistrate court seeking direction to the police to initiate legal action on your complaint.

Yes, if police is not taking any action on your complaint the you may file complaint u/ sec 175 of BNSS before court of Judicial Magistrate having jurisdiction seeking directions to police to investigate and take action in the matter.

You can engage a local lawyer and he will guide you and attend the case wherever necessary.

The full form of PCR is protection of civil rights under PCR Act, 1956.
You can file the case as a party in person too if you are aware of legal procedures.

dear sir , problem is I do not the procedures of PCR . is it not possible to file PCR myself . police and lawyers are firends in localbody sir , that is the problem . thank you sir.

I have clearly given my answer to same question which you repeated in an earlier post stating that you can appear as party in person too without any lawyer, provided you are knowing the legal procedures.
