she has the proposal of a widowed businessman.he claims to be earning very high salary.

if he was service man,we wud have found out from his company where he works how much he earns.

This is a legal forum and not a detective agency. Contact the persons known to him or consult some detective agency.

Check last 3 yrs I Tax returns and his Bank A/c for last few years + his immovable property.

It seems you are more concerned abt income and money!!
Monetarily safeguard is not as vital as the moral, character, nature , health, family background of a man.

You must clarify main reason for Divorce of your sister, and amt collected as alimony or life-time maint recd by her , during First Divorce. It must be non -returnable monetary supporting factor for her Lifetime.

I saw this query first. It raised my anger.

I decided to ignore as my answer could have been even more harsh than one given by Adv Archana.

Mr.Shroff is some time too soft.

I do not know why to post and to attend such type of queries that does not pose any legal problem.

Is LCI a marriage consulting firm?

I fully agree with Shri Prabhakarji,

Though I was soft , you notice my very hard bang on him??? Money minded selfish motive of Querist was totally exposed too.

I do agree, it is not a Legal Query,
Being Expert on Marriage relationship, I softly but strictly advised to look for certain very important points apart from money.

It will help majority of brides to decide choosing groom, and decrease Divorce cases in their Life.
My Reply is reply in rem, not in personama.

Thanks Shri Prabhakarji.

Use family commonsense for verification, if not interested to hire some detective agency, or leave the matter to the destiny, if you are strongly in favour of such proposal. Otherwise for 2nd marriage, choices are always very limited and restricted.

if you ask the prospective bridegroom for his income tax retruns for last 3 years he would be offended . make some discreet inquiries on your own . also remmeber to show your divorce papers .
