property card contains all deatils of the property . the name of owner , survey no etc.
the issue as to whether it is govt property or not will have to be proved by petitioner . when you purchased property did you not take 30 years title search ?
if you had taken title search your lawyer search report would have given you all the answers

You can implead the Municipality as a party, if already not done. Let them say who is the owner. You can also try to get info to defend your case.

Adungal or the revenue records would show whether the property is Public or private. If it is public, it may be classified as poramboke(waste land) or recreation ground or grasing field etc. You may apply for certified extracts of the S.No of your property for the above purpose to the Tehasildar or Talati's Office. At any rate the burden to prove that it is the Govt land is on the person who filed the petition in the court.

Search in the gramakantam.(meaning not clear). You may also face a great problem in establishing ur title to the property as u did not get he sale deed executed and registered in ur favor. Consult local lawyer.
