A lot of citizen have had a need to seek the services of a lawyer at some point and having a good adviser and representative is as important as having a good doctor, i would like the experts and members to give their advice on how to go about selecting the right person for the job, given that basic values like integrity and ethics do matter most when the stakes are high, considering our Indian justice system and the ground realities we face, a few pointers for the citizens will be really helpful from all.

This is vital and important in one's life selecting a doctor and a lawyer. Selecing a lawyer depends on case to case If it is criminal then search for a criminal lawyer The moment you enter any court in India you will find lawyers standing outside offering free advice and freebies and if you approach these lawyers then that is the end of your life. A lawyer who speaks in favour initially and gives you guarantee like a shopkeeper avoid this lawyer. A lawyer should have a chamber and a clerk. Verify his regn no from the net. Analyse his cases argued by him throught court websites. His character, should be analysed by his ethics and code of conduct. His voabulary in english and sooun of voice like hard is suitable if his sounds like a cat pl avoid. He shoul speak to u by looking a your face . There are innumerous number of cantankerous, disgrunted lawyers who if they failed to get their desire results will pput yr lifr in jeopardy. He must patiently hear your case and yr version if he interrupts and raises his advise avoid.
