Hi Experts,
I am writing on behalf of my brother in law.
He has done marriage on Notary papers of 10 rupees stamp on 24 Jan 2011.But the girl is giving a lot of tensions to him and also not caring of old parents. Hence he want to separate from that girl but he has 2 yrs baby also.
Please suggest the best way so that my brother in law have separated with her.
Please also tell if the boy left the girl in that case what are the legal rights of the girl.
Thanks
Pradeep Sharma

how can marriage be solemnised on Rs 10 stamp papers? you can have a traditional hindu marriage wherein both parties go around the sacred fire seven steps and vows in presence of fire (Saptapadi) is completed by the bride and the groom together.
or you can have registered marriage under provisions of special marriage Act .
validity of your marriage is doubtful
if you need divorce you have to obtain divorce decree from family court . apply for mutual consent divorce . contested divorce cases take years to be disposed of .

Marriage on notarized stamp with out rituals or registered marriage is not legal. discuss with your lawyer and show him all the papers.

The marriage agreement is valid.
The marriage can not dissolved through court of law.
