Husband ran away leaving 5 days son and his wife

One of my friend's husband ran away from their house on 6 th day after his wife delivered a baby boy and was discharged from the hospital 6 months ago.They have waited for him all this time.Even nobody in his family neither attends calls from her family members nor from her.Please guide how to solve her issue.

She has suffered a lot by the harrassment from her sister in laws and her husband is staying with them.

Is he missing or that he has abandoned the wife and the child? What is the fact? If missing, report to the Police Station; in the latter case, she can seek maintenance for self and the child.

If she sufferred in her matrimonial house, she can complaint in women protection cell or file case under DV Act. If she wants divorce and maintenance from her hubby for her and her child she may seek redressal from a court of law.

He abandoned her and her son with provokations from his sisters and went away with his sisters from their rented house.Till now none from his family tried to resolve the issue.None helped her financially .

Intentionally her mother in law and her husband had quarrel with my friend and her mother on 5th day of delivery just after discharge to home from hospital .on 6th day they all left her alone and went away.
