You can appear and merely watch the proceedings as a student of law. You cannot argue.
Arvind Singh Chauhan (Expert) 06 December 2010
I agree with Subramanian Sir. But you may be deterred in some courts due to security reason. In Supreme court for high security reason Proximity cards are being distributed to lawyers.
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 06 December 2010

Dear Anonymous,
In which open university are you pursuing the LL.B. Course?
What is the minimum qualification required for joining the said LL.B. Course?
Kirti Kar Tripathi (Expert) 06 December 2010
i think you don't have a right to appear and argue a case before any court. at present no provision is available allowing a person to practice law, who has obtained a degree of law from open university.
JT Rajasuriya, Chennai (Expert) 06 December 2010
Mr.Subramaniam's sarcasm appears to give the answer.
Khaleel Ahmed Mohammed (Expert) 07 December 2010
False query. There is no LLB course in any open university in our country.
