I caught while drinking alcohol

I caught while drinking in public place in Howrah , police taken me to police station and they took my address in a white paper and thumbprint in blank paper and collected 400rs from me. i left the police station after 10 to 15 minutes. They not produced me at any court. Am i not eligible for goverment jobs now??? Am afraid of that.

This would be a petty case and the police would have paid the fine in court on your behalf and the records would have been consigned to records. Hence it may not cause any harm to your government job aspiration.

The police would have been paid in court or there is a chance that they took the amount off the record. However, you are eligible for government jobs as there is no case against you.
