I don't want any property or any share from my parent

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 03 March 2025 This query is : Resolved
I have well settled father and mother and one sibling (younger brother and he is married and lives with his wife and his 2 year kid). I live in my own 2BHK (SBI Housing loan with EMI - I am earning and I am paying the EMI). Now, comes the question.
I no need any property or any money or any property share from my mother and father or from ancestors from now onward and also in future anymore. My wife (living with her parent's support at her native) should not claim or ask anything to me or my parents as we have 3 year girl child (my wife and kid are just living in her parent's support). Is there any document or deed that can be executed stating this ? Please let me know.

You can release your rights through a registered relinquishment deed to your parents over their properties and ancestral properties both movable and immovable.

Without acquiring any title over the property you cannot execute any registered release deed based on your imaginary concept.

Get a Relinquishment deed registered in favour of your brother qua the share whenever you are entitled

You can relinquish your rights over ancestral property if any to your brother but can't relinquish any property rights and share which you have not legally acquired.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 05 March 2025
If you die without such relinquishment then your wife can certainly claim your share

The posting suggests that no legal problem or issues but only a hidden motive that your estranged wife and child should not inherit any property through you. I am afraid that it is beyond objective of this platform to provide legal assistance/suggestions for such unethical pursuits.

@P.Venu Sir,
The reason is my wife does not wants to live with me as she wants to live in a culture with online food ordering daily(no cooking), dressing new daily(no household activities, atleast 25% too), Even if I cook and present, she wont eat and her parents are supporting this. So, inorder to safeguard my hard earned 2 BHK and my few properties, I am thinking about this.
