I need to change Date Of Birth in Passport Please provide me full details about the Process

Dear sir,
My name is B.Raja from A.P.I have applied and got a passport from RPO,Hyderabad in 2004.While I was applying the Passport I had provided wrong Information regarding my Date Of Birth.My DOB in Passport and School,College certificates is not Matching the Difference is 6years now I am facing many problems about my DOB now I have realized with my mistakes.Now I have genuine Documents (SSC,12th Certificates)and I want to change my DOB now please provide me the full Information about Process.

If you want change your name first you will have to issue notice u/s 80 of CPC to the Depurty Commissioner who is representative of the state and to DDPI by giving them 60 days mandatory period to carry out the necessary corrections in the documents. After 60 days you will have to file suit for declaration and injunction, but it is very important that limitation point comes. Because within 3 years you will could have file a suit when there is mistake in the date of birth but after 6 years you are filling, so this is the only one hurdle.

How could u get the pass port with a different date when your SSC certificate does not agree with that date? What documents u had produced before the pass port authority as proof of ur DOB? For change of the date in the pass port, you may have to approach the Pass port authoritities by filling the prescribed form for the purpose. But beware, you have to give suitable explanation regarding the mistake. If the pass port authorities conclude u had deliberately furnished false information you amy be prosecuted.
