HI ???????????????????????????????????
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 02 December 2014
The tenant has to pay the EB charges for his actual usage only. The previous usage should be paid the previous tenant or ask the land lord to pay.

The author is referred "previous owner" and "new owner".
The "new owner" should have seen that all the electricity dues were paid by the "previous owner" while buying the property. If still any dues are left over, he can claim from the previous owner if he is cooperative or he has to pay the bills himself.

you are not bound to pay dues of previous owner . it is duty of electricity service provider to recover dues from earlier owner .

we dont provide citations
