If advocate does not give status of drt case

MY CASE AGAINST BANK AND RECOVERY AGENT IN DRT MUMBAI. SINCE I AM VERY MUCH WORRIED ABT MY CASE I REQUIRE UPDATE STATUS AFTER EACH DATE. BUT MY ADVOCATE IS CARELESS TO GIVE ME SUCH INFO. WHAT IS THE REMEDY.

No one can help u in the present circumstances unless u urself attend the case and get update directly. better talk to ur advocate he may have some difficulties.

Dates can be checked on any other day also.
Go through Daily Board.
If yo are talking about DRT Ballard Pier Mumbai, It is one of the best, well managed, fully air conditioned Court of India, and there is no Lacuna of Date Changing by Clerks. Judges are very reliable and with Dignity, Honesty, very quick and clear.
Personally attend it.
Once you doubt your Advocate, change him immediately.Either trust your Advocate Fully, or Leave him immediately.

have you paid your lawyer his fees? if he is attending DRT mumbai you can always give him a call after the case is over to find next date and what trasnpird in court . peruse the roznama of concerned matter . you should attend on each and every date .
generally lawyers in DRT Mumbai are very professional and wont stoop to such a level

Dear Mr.Arun,
I am of the personal view that if your Advocate does not care to respond your phone calls or ignores your communications, there is no point in continuing him as your Lawyer. While there are number of avenues open to you to ascertain the status of your case, as have been rightly opined by experts herein above, the moot question to be considered by you is different one, provided you have engaged him on the condition of payment of his prescribed fees. Will the continuation of such an Advocate to conduct/defend your case be of any help to you or not, is the relevant question please. Every Advocate has a duty to his client to properly apprise him of the time to time developments of his case.Apart from this, it is important for the client to know where his case stands and what are his recourses from time to time. Unless this is done, I am of the view you should take back your case from him and entrust to another sincere Advocate immediately.
