Hi,
I was misguided by few people and i started constructing my house, i have left the required setbacks as per the bye laws in BBMP, Blore.
My neighbor (back house) is creating a problem stating that the room is not shown in the first floor as per the sanction plan and is not allowing me to build the room.
I also built a basement which is not shown as a part of the sanction plan. Its a 60x40 site.
Now with the complaint at BBMP, i want to go for a legal opinion from the experts on the following...
1. Can i request BBMP for a deviation plan sanctioned (after duly paying the fine and other legal fees to the BBMP)
2. What right my neighbour (back house person) has to stop the completion of my house?

1]yes,but they agree or not is their own sweet will,no right is conferred upon you,just because of that.
2]An illegality committed by a citizen can be brought to notice of authorities by any other citizen.

1.BBMP would accept upto extent of Building bye-laws,as it permitted.
2.He can't directly stop the work,however on complain,Authority would do.

You better approach the BBMP Authorities. They will definitely show you some way to get out of your problem.

Thank you all for the opinion.
When I approached the BBMP for plan modification, they are refusing to issue a modified plan stating that there is a complaint and we cannot issue modified plan now.
Can someone suggest what should i do now?

Check their bye-laws/rules of the BBMP. and make modified plan according to it,When you follow, automatically complaint would be resolved.
