incompetent judge

In my civil appeal pending for last two years in the court, the judge is simply whiling away time on irrelevant issues and granting innumerable adjourments. It is clear he is unable to connect with the case. Is there any remedy orto just wait eternally

I dont know to which State you belong to. But in Maharashtra, civil appeals take more than two years for disposal in a routine way. So please check out what is the position in the court in which your appeal is pending. If it is due to laxity of the judge, you may approach the higher authorities.

Competency of the judge is the headache of the High Court.

If you want a speedy disposal of the case approach the High Court under Article 227.
