Incomplete investigation and arrest u/sec 307, 506 r/w 34 i.p.c.

Sir,

I filed FIR against my niece for attempt to murder. There are six members of the family involved in an attempt to murder me. All the culprits assembled carried out attempt to murder.

Investigation is not completed till date after lapse of 6 months and 3 members who hae not been arrested nor taken bail in the present crime.

What action is suggested to complete the investigation and arrest of remaining 3 family members.

Please advise in the matter.

You can call for the status of investigation through the Magistrate.
Magistrate has ample authority as held by the Supreme Court as well to ask for status report of the investigation from time to time.

SIR,

WHEN IT IS CLEARLY MENTIONED IN THE FIR THE OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS HAVE ESCAPED FROM THE CRIME SCENE AFTER COMMISSION OF OFFENCE. INSPITE OF TELLING ORALLY ABOUT THE OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS THEY ARE NOT ARRESTING THE CULPRITS NOR ANY ENQUIRY IS MADE. I AM NOT UNDERSTANDING WHY THEY ARE NOT ARRESTING WHEN THE CHARGE IS UNDER SECTION 307 CR.P.C.

PLEASE ADVISE ME I WILL BE GRATEFUL FOR THIS.

There is something without your knowledge. Just check it. The accused may be granted anticipatory bail as well as may be got direction before the high court for not to harass in the name of enquiry. So just clear it..

But formal enquiry also not made mean there is something against you. May be the police peoples collueded with the accused. They are trying to save them from the clutches of law
