Increment after technical resignation reg;

Sir,
I joined in central Govt. department at 4600/- grade pay in the month of Feb 2017 but meanwhile I got selected for a post bearing grade pay 4800/- in the month of August 2017. I had already intimated my first employer about my tentative appointment for the second job i.e at the grade pay of 4800/-. As a result I joined the new job on technical resignation in the month of Sept 2017.

In the above referred case I want to know that whether I am eligible for Annual Increment on 01.01.2018 or not. As I joined the new job on technical resignation and had completed 6 Months of regular service since Feb 2017 I am suppose to get Annual Increment on 01.01.2018, but my new employer has denied me of this.

Kindly give insight in my case so that I may get benefit of Technical Resignation.

You have not stated whether the scale of pay in both post were the same or not.From the detail you have given, you have to complete a year for getting your first increment, but your service from th edate of joining will count for the total service for terminal benefits on retirement.

You have stated to have joined first job in Feb 2017 and submitted technical resignation in Aug 2017 to join second job and expecting annual increment from 01.01.2018 ??? Confused story and vague information / query.
