Intestate succession

Hello
My Query is -
'A' died without a will leaving certain immovable property. He left behind his wife, 2 sons and 1 daughter. I would like to know what is the procedure if one of the sons would like to claim his share in the property. I would also like to know what are the legal documents required and which affidavits/deeds need to be filed.

each legal heir has 1/4th share in property . son can file suit for partition if it is not possible to arrive at an amicable settlement
