With above mentioned ipc we have received a notice from court .A case was filed by my sister sasural family against us to protect themselves from dowry case.after 1 year we r getting notice.i my not in India. Working out of India. Wat to do now..how to tackle such cases in which I was not presented in act.which type of ipc is this.

Last year in the month of April my sister filed dowry , harassment , DV case against her husband and family.
The case went for whole of last year.Now this year April her husband is ready to take her home and got the bail after filling the bond that he will not repeat it again.
Yesterday we have recvd a notice of case filed against us(father, mother, brother) with above mentioned ipc by her husbands family. We two brothers stay abroad .how we will get bail.

If this notice has been received from court, then you have to surrender before the court, get enlarged on bail and then allow the case to be challenged through your advocate, or if the notice is from police, then your advocate can obtain an AB from court after which you may visit the country, and get enlarged on bail after surrendering in the court subsequently. About your stand, it can be presented before the court only and not at this stage but at the time of trial.
