I repeat my question because I didn't get answered my question is we purchase home of amount 40 lacs on my mother's name my wife contribute 3 lac by taking loan now after 1/year she filed 498 telling we demand dowry for purchase home please tell me 3/lacs amount given by my wife is consider dowry or not she is government servant I m also a government servant i heartly request u please help me all expert's

where from you arranged Rs 40 Lakhs?
have the details intimated to your deptt within one month?
where from your wife arranged the loan?
has she intimated the transaction to her deptt?
when relations were so cordial one yer back how things went so bad?

The house is in the name of mother she is owner.
Whether the amount would be considered as dowry or not depends on the conditions and proofs presented by each side.

Dear experts from 40 lacs 17 lacs contribute by my Father 20/lacs by me for taking home loan and 3 lacs by my wife from her teachers co operative bank Rs 5500 emi deducted from my wife salary per month now please tell me sir is it dowry case or not please help me all respected experts

Sir I'm a government servant taking home loan from HDFC bank of 20 lacs and emi deduct from my salary , my wife has problem with my mother she told for seprate living and i denied for that please sir tell me my wife loan amount is dowry or not and what happen in court
