Hello,

I am planning to buy a house from a Muslim person who acquired the property on his own. He held the property for 6 years and wants to sell now.

Please clarify:
Is there any special conset need to be taken from any of his legal hiers?

What are other things to be taken care in this case ?

Thanks,
Babu

Though I am not an expert of Muslim Law, I dont think there could be any such limitation for a Muslim to sell his self acquired property only after having consent from his legal heirs.

You can fearlessly purchase such property as there is no any legal issue involved therein.

A Muslim owner can sale his property like any one ,no consent from any one is required.

You are required to do due diligence about the origin of title and encumbrance search.

Engage a property law lawyer and ask him to give you a report in writing.
