Dear All,
I need Help!
I am BE+MBA in Marketing & this is my first job.I have signed service bond with my current employer for period of 3 yrs of 1.5Lacs.I want to know Is single sided bond legal in India? After 1yr of Training Period as mentioned in my appointment letter but comapny not gave me any professional training.If I break my bond then is it possible to get leaving letter without paying any penny to company. Please advise me. Waiting for reply......

you must apply your mind over the terms of the bond before signing. There is no point in lamenting after signing the bond.

Generally single sided bonds do not stand before courts if it put restraint on trade and employment. However if the company has to incur some expenses on training and such other skill development activities and it has actually been done by the company then in such a case you will be bound by the terms of the bond.
