Is stand taken by Mr.Shanti Bhushan appropriate?

Dear All,
We all know for sure that in open court Mr.Bhushan while arguing the case has submitted a list of Retired Chief Justice of Apex Court and dared the court to open the envelope.
I want to seek your considered views/opinion that is it appropriate for any officer of the court (be it a Senior Advocate or Ex Law Minister)to conduct himself in a more dignified way. It is evident that two wrongs cannot make a thing right still by playing for the gallary what lesson it will convey for the younger aspiring lot of professionals.
(Believe it I am not commenting on the merits of the case but my concern is solely how the Bench and Bar conducts itself for the betterment of this profession).

Dear Mr. Daksh,
Mr. Shanti Bhushan is absolutely right. He has the courage of conviction to say what he has said. There is a lot of reform required in the judiciary. Unless persons like Mr. Shanti Bhushan comes forward and act, the system will rot. If at all anything that I will take from Mr. Shanti Bhushan's act, it is his courage of conviction and the guts to stand up to anything disregard of the consequences. An Advocate worth his salt and that too a Senior Advocate of his stature is not expected to act differently.

well i support Mr. Shanti Bhushan and Prashant Bhushan for standing up for the Truth... he should be supported by the senior members of the Bar as we all know that what is saying is true... well judges are not above law and need to be reminded of that by such senior memebers as they have been here long enough to know who's Who...i respect hima nd his son for the courage...

WE ARE PASSING THROUGH THE WORST PHASE OF KALYUG.THE JUDICIARY ,AS PER PERSONAL EXPERIENCES,MEDIA AND LAYMEN'S OBSERVATIONS, IS ON STEEP DECLINE IN INTEGRITY AND THERE IS MUSHROOM LIKE GROWTH OF CORRUPTION IN ITS FUNCTIONING.MICRO-ANALYSIS WILL REVEAL THAT ALL THIS 90% CHAIN REACTION OF CORRUPTION AND10% HUMAN ABERRATION. TO EXPLAIN CHAIN REACTION: POLITICIAN IS THE PIVOT AND GONE CORRUPT LIKE NIGERIA PATTERN.APPOINTMENT OF CJI IS BASED ON LOBBY,FAVOUR FROM POLITICAL SYSTEM.MANY OF LAW MINISTERS OF INDIA HAD REPUTATION OF OBSESSED AVIDITY FOR MONEY AND PLEASURES.TO WOO THEM IS NOT DIFFICULT FOR ONE WHO IS DETERMINED TO BUY THE POSITION. THEY HAVE SAY ,MAY BE LATERAL IN THE SELECTION OF SUPREME COURT JUDGES ,HIGH COURT JUDGES. IF ONE WANT TO REACH TO HIGH COURT JUDGE LEVEL,HE HAS TO COLLECT FROM BELOW AND PAY TO ABOVE. THIS ALL IS LEADING TO SCANDELS,AS RECENTLY PROTESTED SELECTION PROCESS OF ADJ IN RAJASTHAN WITH OPENLY CHARGESHEETED CJ RAJASTHAN. DURING THE INFORMAL DISCUSSION ONE 'PROSECUTED' ADVOCATE ADMITTED SOMEWHERE THAT HE WAS INDULGING IN WOMEN SUPPLY RACKET,JUST TO FULFILL HIS ASPIRATION TO REACH TO HIGH COURT BENCH THROUGH WOOING CENTRAL GOVT.LAW MINISTER,WHO IS A CONNOISEUR OF WOMAN AND THROUGH THIS WEAKNESS HE COULD GET FAVOUR FROM HIM.THEY BOTH BELONGED TO SAME CASTE TOO. LOOK AT DEGRADATION OF VALUES,MEANS APPROACHES,ETC ,IN THIS ERSTWHILE MOST RESPECTABLE PROFESSION OF SOCIETY. PERHAPS MR. SHANTBHUSAN COULD NOT CONTROL THE VOICE OF HIS INNER CONSCIOUS AND COME OUT WITH FACTUAL STATE OF AFFAIRS. COUNTRY NEEDS MORE SHANTIBHUSANS.

the action of sri Bushan is right in my way, reforms or changing in law are is necessted. the corrupt persons should be through out from the judiciary. It should be done by the learned body of the socity.

Mr.Shanti Bhushan has given the names in a sealed envelope & he has not disclosed the names. What more dignified manner could that have been done? I do not know.
To me, the only alternative is to keep quiet & suffer, all in the name of judicial dignity.

Atleast the Bhushans have the audacity to expose these corrupt rascals who are a shame on this country which is rich with very great tradition,honour and culture. Otherwise who will do these when all others are boot lickers of these fellows.We must unitedly stand up and support the Bhushans in their fight against corruption in the judiciary.

Human beings are always human beings .All type of people exist every time .Presently due to high technology ,existence of transparency and fearless truth loving people every thing is coming out.May due to lack of above facilities in past every thing had gone unheard.
