WHEN AN ACCUSED IS ARRESTED HE MUST BE PRODUSED BEFORE A MAGISTRATE.UPON HIS PRODUCTION IF HE IS SENT TO JAIL AS UTP IS CALLED JUDICIAL CUSTODY. IF HE IS AGAIN GIVEN TO POLICE CUSTODY FOR INVESTIGATION IT CALLED AS POLICE CUSTODY. WHEN AN ACCUSED IS ARRESTED IN AN AREA OUTSIDE THE JURISDICATION AND TO PRODUCE HIM BEFORE A MAGISTRATE WHERE HE IS ARRESTED SEEKING PERMISSION TO TRANSIT THE ACCUSED IS CALLED TRANSIT REMAND.riven
