Hi Exports,
My Grandmother had property in Bangalore, and she expired in 2005, She Has Two Sons Elder son(64 year old) and younger son(59 year old). Now(April 2012) Khatha of that property changed to the name of Younger son of her, showing Aquired type is (Pavthi Khatha) Its Kannada word.
To khatha Transfer Ealder son put signature on just white paper application to the respective Thashidhar.
I am Ealder son's Son 29 Year old now still i have rights on that property or no?
Because I am Major even though I have no involvement in that Khatha Transfer.
Kindly help me in understanding my rights in Above property!

since garand mother died intestae her 2 sons will have equal share in the property . as far as mutation of property is concerned it wont be transferred in name of younger son unless elder son has given his NOC . it seems you have in application to tehsildar signed a blank piece of paper . find out contents of said application . contact a local lawyer
