A person is alleged for Cyber crime and the Court is punished him for imprisonment for some year and fine. Can he eligible to immigrate in foreign country after complete of punishment? Does He contain label of Criminal after complete of punishment for the crime? Can he get police clearing certificate after complete his punishment for crime?

It is not the police who has to give clearance, it is the embassy of the concerned country who has to give VISA after considering the facts about your record.

1. If you have to apply for the Indian passport, you need to get police clearance before you get it.
2. If you want to apply for immigrant visa to any country, in many cases they ask for your past criminal record.After all, you are trying to become their citizen in future
3. Once you are convicted for any offence, the label of ex-convict will remain even if you have undergone the punishment. Some countries even ask particulars about convictions for traffic offences etc.
