My father working in one textile shop in Tamil Nadu kovilpatti,since 12years he's getting only 11000 rs salary and also sometimes he's working full night and next day also working for only, 30rs he's working very hard but they do not increase the salary plase suggess some point to take action on shop md

Working hours=8/day,48/week.

Beyond which OT should apply.

There is capping on OT hours.

Before employee initiates agitation, download evidence of demand of OT and attendance.

Employer should not pay less than Min.Wages as in the Min.Wages Act and provide statutory benefits e.g; PF, ESIC,Gratuity..........

Apparently the salary is not less.

The issue seems to be OT/OT hours.

The MD can react and resort to ways to end employment.

Prefer to act with patience.
