Better settle the issue amicably. If legal recourse is only option then file recovery suit for money. Check whether the money is paid to the seller or not.

It is a matter to settle amicably as waging a legal battle for Rs.2 lakhs will take long time. All other family members will help you, if you properly represent the matter to them instead of resorting to legal action, which is a last resort.

If amicable solutions are not forthcoming you may resort to legal action by filing suit for recovery of money before the civil court.
