Land cheating

(Querist) 28 January 2013 This query is : Resolved
Sir my best friend promised me to get a plot and he took 5 lakhs from me. But now he is neither giving the money back or giving the plot. He deceived the trust relationship. only evidence i have is my bank statement and he has given me the blank cheque without date and he has the signed the cheque. What is the solution for me??? is the proof is enough to sue him???
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 28 January 2013
Yes.
Fill up the cheques and get it honoured.
If it bounces then file cheque bounce case as well case of cheating.

agree with Barman.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 28 January 2013
If you do not like idea of Mr Burman then you file a civil suit and go in circles for years.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 28 January 2013
It shall also be better to issue a letter to him demanding the amount given with interest and only thereafter use the blank cheques.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 28 January 2013
You also keep the record of that registered letter with postal receipts so that it may be used in future as an evidence.
