How to prove that monthly tenant of shop has given the shop on leavlicence without permission of landlord.THIS IS A OLD GR+2 STRUCTURE LOCATED IN MUMBAI SUBURBS WITH 4 SHOPS AT GR.FLR.ALL ARE REGULER TENANTS SINCE MORE THAN 25 YRS HAVING INDIVIDUAL NAMES ON RENT RECEIPT, BUT ONE SHOP IS HAVING RENT RECEIPT ON FIRMS NAME i.e. M/S abcd&co WITH THE SAME NAME BOARD ON THE SHOP (PARTNERSHIP FIRM)WITH 5 COUSINS AS A PARTNERS NOW DURING LAST 4 YEARSALL 4 PARTNERS HAVE REMOVED THEIR PARTNERSHIP FROM THE SAID FIRM AND ONE REMAINING LAST PARTNER IS RUNNING THE SHOP AND HE HAS CHANGED THE NAME OF SHOP .I AM AFRAID HE HAS SUBLET/LEASED HIS SHOP TO THIRD PERSON. CAN I OBJECT TO CHANGE THE SHOP'S NAME.ASK HIM TO SUBMIT THE document FOR SAME m/s abcd&co firm is in existing.

As soon as only one person remained in alleged partnership, its existence gets ended so you being landlord has got every legal right to get your property back from him as the same was given to a partnership firm which lost its existence. File a rent petition seeking eviction of your shop.
