Last date of appeal

Hello Experts,

Jr. Civil court given the order on 25th April 2012. We applied for certified copies immediately and we got certified copies on 18th May 2012.

We want to appeal against this order in district court. What is the last date for filing appeal? I heard before 30 days, should I count from 18 or 19? Quite in confusion please help.

The date on which certified copies are taken will count as first day. In the month of May, there are 14 days upto 31/5/2012 and ipso facto, it will be June-16 as last date to file appeal.
