Simply because you have knowledge of CrPC does not justify your interest to pursue law. Law has 18 other subjects apart from Cr.PC. So think twice before opting to join the course.

I mean well versed and good at law with more co-ordination and commuincation you can further build your career. But above all what is you ambition and intrest is be taken care off. do what you want to be in life and not because you know something good or better. see you interest, capability surrounding and you far you can excel in that field, then select the side.
Out of curiosity i like to tell you that i wanted to be a doctor but I have completed my diploma in Automobile Engg, Diploma in Computer Applications, B.A. LL.B Diploma in Cyber Law, then i have already completed my Section A in AMIE as you belong to technical i am telling you this. Law is a field where you have to be MASTER OF ALL AND JACK OF NONE. Remember this and then decide your career

If you have real interest in law and also to become and advocate, you are welcome; study regular law degree course and join the bar.

You can very well do law. you can join the same and would excel in that also, as you came out with flying colours in the engineering. All the Best.
