Legal compliance to follow while giving insurance

Hi,
My father is a sales manager in Mahindra Tractors agency in a district in UP.He also look after the documentation for tractor's insurance for the buyers from Chola Mandalam. Now a buyer claimed his insurance stating his tractor got theft within two 3 days of the insurance.So the police is fixing my father stating he is also involved in theft or he did not followed the procedure while doing policy, However in a small district the agency run only under the micro management of the owner and my father always adhered to the procedure owner has created. Now he also behaving like this is my father's fault. My father is an extremely humble and soft in nature that even in an event of turbulence he start shivering. he is certainly not very strong and melts down in the pettiest of the issues in life. So the Daroga is now harnessing my father to pay 100000 or he will fix him in the case. Please advise and throw some light upon what could be wrong doing while signing insurance paper for a buyer as a manager.

Mam,
Tell them to do whatever they want to do, I mean what is the evidence on record to show that your father is involved in it.... They are trying to legally extort your father and nothing else.

Your father should meet higher officials.
He can proceed to trap such officials through vigilance.Such officials deserve this treatment.
