My uncle had died one year before. He was unmarried. He was owning one flat. I would like to know who can be the legal heir for this flat.
He has not made any will
He has 2 brothers & 4 sisters. All brothers & sisters are married

If your uncle died intestate and also not married and not having even an illegitimate child through him and his mother also died before him, all hiss brothers and sisters are entitled to his property because they are the second class legal heirs of your uncle under law. as per law the first class legal heirs like his sons, daughters, wife, father and mother are the first class legal heirs, in case of no first class legal heirs the rights of the first class legal heirs automatically transfers to second class legal heirsriven

You question has been rightly dealt with herein above and I too endorse the same. As regards your subsequent question, I am of the opinion that merely because his sisters are married they would not cease to be legal heirs.riven
