Hi,
If a company has both manufacturing and trading activity, whether the company can registor under legal metrology for trading business.
Note: Trading and manufacturing located in different location

whether we can get SAD exemption for trading business alone,

If I am not wrong, you are a managing consultant (MC, as per your profile) of the company your are asking for. Even if you are not a consultant to the company, the query otherwise is of a commercial nature for which your comapny can well afford to hire services of some expert on Metrology related problems.
However, I may point out, since the query is of academic nature without any specific problem that can lead to cropping up of several supplementary queries. So, I advise you to go through the LM Act along with your own State's framed Rules based on that Act, so that you get proper knowledge of the provisions of the Act and the Rules. After that, if you come forward with some specific problem pertaining to the issue, I would be pleased to reply on your query.

Yes, I agree with Mr. Dingra's views on the subject, the author must do some home work, consult a local consultant and then come out with specific problem for clarifications.
