Joinig time could be availed as in the case of transfer.

But what about in reversion case
KISHAN DUTT KALASKAR (Expert) 27 August 2019
Dear Sir,
It all depends upon terms of service and reason for termination, normally a Government Servant has lien for a period of 4 years in respect of his previous job.
Guest (Expert) 27 August 2019
Joining time, in any way, has no relation with the lien of an employee. Joining time depends on the distance the employee has to travel to join the place of his posting. However, if reversion is sought on personal request, no joining time is permissible, irrespective of the distance covered by the employee to join his post in the parent cadre. He will have to manage by taking leave due in order to join his new post.

P. Venu (Expert) 27 August 2019
You are entitled for joining time unless the reversion has been at your request or you have been posted at the place of your request.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 25 September 2019
agreed with Mr Venu.

JT is available in case of movement in public interest.
