LIMITATION ACT : AFTER HOW MANY YRS DECREE BEOCMES VOID

Please ref to my query dated 10 Oct 2009.
Can some learned lawyer quote the Sec of the Limitation Act under which the Decree becomes non-enforceable ( i.e. void ) after 12 yrs, if mutation process is NOT carried out by then.

Decree is not void unless it is set aside by the court.
On the basis of the decree u can file an application for mutuation.

Dear Rajiv ji,
Thanx for ur advice. If u read the replies given to my query, it was stated that the decree cannot be enforced after 12 yrs. I wanted to know under what sec of the Act it becomes void after 12 yrs that it cannot be enforced for mutation ?
Kindly read the replies of the learned lawyers and then give further clarification

Dear major saheb
It is article 136 of the Act which provides limitation period of 12 years for execution of a decree other than injunction/foreign courts decrees.
