Respected sir/ madame.
My father owns a property in Bangalore, measuring 32x60 in 1980 and adjacent piece of 20x60 in 1988, then both a revenue layout. In 1998 the neighbhour bought a piece measuring 3x60 from 20x60 peice of land. and then got in to a dispute of acuring of 2 feet extra at the time of construction. My father did not get it registered and the neighbhour challenged the same in the court. He lost the case and got a stay from the high court. Meanwhile he also intaitaed another case on BBMP stating that the 20x60 was a portion of road. As BBMP came in act in 2007 and took our layout in there limits as it on then situtaion. Betterment and tax are paid regularly and we have A khatha. The addl comm BBMP passed an ordre in Dec 2012 to revoke the khatha under the section 114A, We were able to get the stay on the same.
However the neighbour has displayed a board on out property stating this house is a illegal construction on the road and also filed for a poilce protection aginst us. we approcahed the BBMP for the ercetion of board. they inspected and verified saying that that board is not authorised by them. we approcahed the local police and then the commisioner but they gave us there deaf ears and declined accepting the complaint from us and said will not support in the removal of the board, asked us to go back to BBMP. BBMP says that we will not be able to verify or even interfere on ur prop as we have the high court has issued a stay on them. Please advise as to what should be our next step and who do we approach for the removal of the display board on our father's property.
