Why our law degrees can't me made uniform in this country. Some are B.L. graduates and many are L.LB. graduates. For a single profession just like MBBS for Medicine, CA for Chartered Accountant, BE for Engineers, all Law Universities must award only B.L. Degrees to get away from the British stream who made it as L.LB.

In my opinion and as indicated in U.K. degrees - the word LL.B denotes Bachelor of Laws in Law and LL.M - Master of Laws in Law. You can verify it from UK Law Schools
