Llb admission

(Querist) 18 September 2016 This query is : Resolved
I have taken admission in Gujarat University in LLBA on the basis of MBA with 56% because I have below 45% in graduation level.

Now as per Gujarat University LLB manual eligibility criteria is “ The candidates having below 45 % at the Graduation Level Examination (Qualifying Examination) but having 45 % or more than 45 % at the Post Graduation Level is eligible to take admission in Three Years’ LL.B. Program

After taking admission college send my all documents to Gujarat University and university has reject my documents with the reason that we consider post graduation percentage in the case if you have below in graduation only in like degree as B.Com then M.Com / B.sc then M.sc but not B.Com and then M.B.A. even he is saying MBA and B.Ed degree not consider in post graduate degree.

Please advice for my further action.

The university is right in its approach. MBA & B.ed. are even diplomas and cannot be considered as masters degree.

These are Bachelors and post graduation programmes.

Whether prospectus has exempted MBA degree for admissions?

MBA is post graduation degree, discuss with local lawyer.

You may represent to the University and if not successful, approach the High Court through a Writ Petition.

BBA is bachelor degree and MBA is post graduate degree. But these are Professional degree courses.

You can benefit from the advise of experts and may represent.
