lok adalat

I got notice from lok adalat for payment of bsnl dues for rs 12000.
What is the minimum amount that i have to pay.i am a senior citizen having a very low income of rs 8000 pm.
Please help.

If the bill is as per user & not an inflated one, do some hard bargaining before lok adalat. Remember, L/A has no powers to pass judgment & can pass orders only on consent. If U agree to an amount, orders will be passed accordingly & U will be bound by it & no appeal can be filed. If u do not agree on the amount, the L/A is powerless to pass any order & BSNL will have to take recourse to the common process for recovery of it's dues.

No rule, you can negotiate. Department may allow rebate as per their rules.
