Lok adalat is a competent court and even its verdicts cannot be challenged before upper court thus these judgments attain finality. If any of the parties is not complying its verdict, it is a clear contempt of court hence the proceeding can be initiated accordingly against the erring party.

It is not a case of contempt of court. File Execution case and get the award executed through process of law.

Even though the act amounts to contenmpt of court, it is advisable to file execution petition for perfirmance of order of court by the party.
