Loss of lease income?

Can a person claim that that he/she has occurred Loss Of Lease Income due to some one else giving some information (which is completly true) and file a case against them for loss of reputation and loss of income??

Sorry,

I gave out information that a property has a legal case on it a long time ago, the issue has been later settled but the property owner is now asking why i gave out that info and i just wanted to know if i am at risk.
