One of our relative's case is pending in the Motor Accident Claim Tribunal since 1998.She is a party to the case.Being a chartered accountant,I didn't have the time to look into the case and left it upto the advocate itself who is continuously saying that the case involves certain complications and will take time.He also said that the next hearing of the case is scheduled at 04-01-2012.We have certain case details like case number, name of petitioner and respondent. Please tell me whether the advocate is misleading us and also guide us with the requisite procedure for inquiring the true facts and details of the case. Also suggest me whether we should take the case back from that lawyer and hire a new lawyer for handling the case and if so,please tell which documents are to be taken back from the lawyer. Thanks in advance.

basically civil cases and motor vehicle accident cases take time for award or decree, but your case is too long time taked, so you rush to your case to your lawyer, and speed up the case.

dear sir, infact you are right you should take back your case from the existing lawyer it seems he is not handling the same in a right direction and in speedy way otherwise it should not have taken this much time. you need to have complete case file however if it is not available with you then it can be taken from court and after studying the same best course of action can be suggested so that you get justice very fast.
