Sir/Madam,
This is about Maharashtra Act XXX of 2014 and amendment thereto dated 30/06/2014.
Whether this Act is applicable to Mumbai City and Suburbs? and whether I can request the City Survey Officer to mutate / register the name of our society in the property card as the conveyance deed is already registered in the name of the society.

you must read Maharashtra Act XXX of 2014 and amendment thereto dated 30/06/2014 if this act provide provision then you may be proceed.

As ur Society is having registered sale deed u can get its name incorporated in the property card (7/12 register) and village card (Form No.6). This is the position under the revenue code. Pl name the Act and details of the amendment referred by you for proper advice on the question of its applicability to ur Society.

The name of the Act is "Maharashtra Act No. XXX of 2014" and it is published in the "Maharashtra Government Gazette" on 30/06/2014. [Ref. Maharashtra Government Gazette, extraordinary part VIII; Sr. No. 82; Year 6; Vol. 25; Monday June 30, 2014
I have a soft copy of the Government Gazette circular, however this Forum does not permit attachments hence I can not attach the same herewith. However, if you so wish, I shall be obliged to receive your email id to be able to send the soft copy to you.
