How the court agreed I don't know. 1 month FD bank FD is not there. 1 year, 3 years etc FDs are there. You tell your lawyer to ask your husband to put the next installment of money//maintenance in highcourt court only in the revision case.

Without referring full case file and orders of the High Court nothing can be advised whether why the amount was deposited in FD for one month.
SBI allows FD for 7 days to 10 years, it can be formed.
Your lawyer should prey court for payment through cash / draft.

The facts, as stated, are confusing. Though HC may have given decision, implementation would always be through Trial Court.

As per given circumstances I may infer that 50% of maintenance amount has been paid to your daughter in "cash" whereas, balance 50% is directed (by High Court in revision petition) to be deposited for long term so that she (your daughter) may have financial security for a longer period of life.
However, the opinion is based on information provided by you on presumption only, which is to be correlated with the submissions made by both the parties to the revision petition and decision of the Court, which may further be explained by your lawyer.
I am not asking/begging/compelling you to press either "like" or "unlike" button for my opinion/advise, it is purely your personal decision. However, you are expected to (rather must) submit your remarks as you have been obliged Free legal advise for your query.
