Malicious prosecution

what shall be the course of action if a complaint filed under section 498A IPC is closed by investigation after putting investigation report . can a complaint for malicious prosecution be filed against wife and his relatives.

Yes , it can be filed but the de facto complainant can still revive the case by filing 'protest petition', of course if it gets allowed.

Yes, you can file private complaint case for malicious prosecution.
