Dear Experts,

I have a situation where in, me and my girlfriend are thinking to get married- now her dad is in police and they have threatened to make our life hell if we do so,same is the case with my parents, we both are Hindus but from different casts, she is locked in her house and we intend to elope, kindly help me out with all the legal and best possible way to get married.

If both of you are of marriageable age then you may marry your girlfriend in accordance with law and get marriage registered. But advocates cannot help you to elope.

Convince the parents and get married with their blessings if you have lead happy and prosperous married life.

I principally do agree with the opion of Rao but keeping in view the circumstances mentioned in the quarry, such good wishes are not going o work so it shall be better if you both perform marriage in any temple and then approach to High Court to provide you police security. Keep in mind that both of you are of marriageable ago, have identity proofs along-with date of birth certificates. Any advocate can help you. If you deem fit, can also approach me for this noble purpose.

if you both are major not minor then you you may marry. but Mr Raghav is right..... Convince the parents and get married with their blessings if you have lead happy and prosperous married life. Our parents loves us a lot... they always wanna to see their kids happy.... so convince them.....
