marriage null and void

I registered marriage on October, 2015. We didn't marry socially so we stay separate. Now my father in law brutally force my wife to file a petition for null and void. Their lawyer mentioned in the petition that I forced her to marry.
So I just want to know that the court will accept the petition or not? And how long it will take to complete the process.
Please let me know. Waiting for your valuable reply.

If your marriage is duly registered before the marriage registrar and at the time of marriage you both were of major age and sound mind, then it cannot be declared or proved as null and void.
